The west coast holds the views Nusa Penida is known for, and every day tour goes there. What changes the day is when you arrive. A private speedboat leaves Sanur when you are ready, so you reach Kelingking ahead of the scheduled boats and leave each place before it fills.
A car collects you from your hotel in south Bali. Your boat crosses the Badung Strait in about 40 minutes and lands at Nusa Penida, where your guide and driver are waiting.
Kelingking comes first, while the light is still soft. The full descent takes two hours there and back, so on a day trip most guests go down the first flights for the classic angle and keep the rest of the day. If the descent is the reason you came, tell us, and we drop Broken Beach to make room.
Then Broken Beach and Angel's Billabong, lunch with a view of the sea, and Crystal Bay, where you can snorkel off the beach when the current is slack. We carry masks and fins in your size.
