Nine guided dives over seven days, with a private dive guide for your party and a licensed dive centre, which we name in your confirmation, running the boats. We handle the stays, transfers and everything on land.
The first dive is an easy one, so you and your guide can check buoyancy and equipment. From there the week works through the region's best-known sites as the currents allow: Manta Point and Batu Abah for reef mantas, Crystal Bay and Gamat Bay, and the drifts at Toyapakeh and along Lembongan.
From about July to October the mola rise to cleaning stations at Crystal Bay and elsewhere, usually deeper than 20 metres and never guaranteed.
The currents here are strong and change fast, with down-currents on some sites. The full programme suits Advanced Open Water divers with at least 30 logged dives. Open Water divers are welcome, and the dive centre keeps you to the gentler sites.
Midweek there is a day out of the water, touring the west coast of Nusa Penida. Your last morning is kept free of diving so you can fly safely.
Nusa Penida has only a handful of truly high-end places to stay, and they fill early. If none suits your dates, we will tell you before you pay and suggest a base on Nusa Lembongan, which has more choice and is 15 minutes away by boat.
